Zabor Dance officially opened its doors to the public on October 1, 2006 in Charlottesville, Virginia, under the direction of Edwin and Amberlyn Roa. Their intention is to offer the dance community a venue in which everyone can pursue and develop the art of partner dancing in all of its forms. More than just a school, Zabor is a teaching technique that focuses entirely on the improvement of partner dancing, especially in its social form.

Its mission is to create tolerance and understanding among the community, and to invite everyone to grow and develop their own personality through dance, which will ultimately contribute to the growth of the art of partner dance.

The Zabor experience is some what difficult to describe in words; however, easy to understand once you have taken part in it. Therefore, you are invited to come, for it is definitely worth a try. At the very least, we can guarantee that you will have fun!
