Glen Miller Jr. was born on July 17, 1984 in Jamaica Queens, NY. In 1990 Glen's family relocated to Richmond, VA, where at a young age, he picked up his passion for the performing arts.

Glen began dancing in 2002 at the age of 18, under the direction of Deidre Davis and Rashida Flemming of the Unique Concepts Dance Academy (UCDA) in Richmond, VA. At UCDA, Glen took numerous amounts of dance classes in several different styles, including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, and Contemporary Ballet. In 2003, Glen Miller Jr. began to study both Broadway and Rhythmic styles of Tap under the direction of Joe Garafolo at Regency Dance Academy in Henrico, VA. Ready to take dance to the next level, Glen decided, by the summer of 2004, to take more classes and to focus more on technique by joining Bon Air Dance, where he underwent intense Ballet, Jazz, and Musical Theater classes from Joe and Lisa Garafolo, and several Ballroom Partnering classes from Edwin Roa. He has also taken a few master classes in Tap, Jazz, and Hip-Hop in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center.
